Shotover Ridge

We were running late due to delayed flights so having a lock box means it doesn't matter about schedules. You can arrive late and still get into your accommodation. Clear information was also sent prior to arriving about key codes etc. Was great having a laundry also.

We had a wee problem with the electrics but Ann, our host, was round in a jiffy to sort.

Our stay at this apartment was truly beyond expectations. The space was not only incredibly cosy but also so aesthetically pleasing — every corner was thoughtfully designed and such a delight to the eyes. The view from the balcony was simply breathtaking, something we’ll remember for a long time. A huge thank you to John and Ann for their outstanding hospitality. They are kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect before our arrival — even accommodating our early check-in request, which we really appreciated. One of the highlights of our stay was his sweet gesture of preparing his secret recipe veggie soup for us — it was absolutely delicious and made us feel so welcomed. It’s a pity we only had one night here, but we’ll definitely be back. Thank you again, John and Ann, for making our stay so memorable!

the loction was perfect for us. Loved the soup simmering in the crock pot for when we arrived and the bread that went with the soup. The easter eggs were a lovely thought. It made us feel really at home

the only thing I could say was it would be nice if one of the rooms could have an ensuite

The property was clean, cosy, well equipped with stunning views. Welcome homemade soup was a lovely surprise.

The host prepared hot vegetable soup and fresh bread for us on arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. The view from the balcony was stunning. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. A perfect base for exploring Queenstown!

The apartment seemed to be in a commercial area but when we went up the stairs into the apartment we were absolutely thrilled. Such a beautiful place with an amazing balcony with views out over the Shotover River and mountains. It was near the end of the airport but we were not at all disturbed by the airplanes. Very centrally located for the supermarkets and shops at Queenstown Central. John and Ann had left us a lovely letter of greeting and also answered my texts in a friendly and prompt manner. I felt like we were friends already. The apartment had two very comfortable Queen beds and the kitchen was brilliant, just like you would wish for at home. I especially loved the pop of red, my favourite colour. John and Ann also left us a wonderful platter of deli products in the fridge and some chocolates which was greatly enjoyed. We were made to feel completely at home in this wonderful well-appointed home. We will definitely return as we love to visit Queenstown.
