The air con remote didn’t work so it was a bit too warm and the water pressure for showering is very low

We loved the size of the room and the fact it had two queen sized beds. Nice large fridge and good working air conditioner

Unfortunately the shower was was very low pressure. Also come prepared for an incomplete kitchen, for example no bowls.

My jaw dropped as I was ushered into my place! It was huge! And it was super clean, complete with fully equipped kitchen, hot shower with lotion, soap and shampoo, air conditioning, fan, super comfortable beds, great sheets (none of those cheapo polyester ones you’d typically find in the smaller places) internet and tv… my “apartment” also had floor to ceiling curtained windows that looked out to the street. Fun to watch the town’s people going by every night. Overseeing my stay was the most gracious and lovely host- Mama Bety! She even offered to make me a traditional mexi/mayan meal. Sadly I had to decline as I am vegan. But this aside, I felt personally cared for by Mama Bety. She was kind and friendly, accommodating and always available anytime I reached out with a question. The apartment, for the price was a great deal and in a perfect location as well. I was able to comfortably navigate the town on foot from this place. Not too far from town center, but far enough to be quieter in the evening. Also great proximity to some amazing restaurants, great shopping and not far from the ADO, as well the colectivos to Chichen Itza and Ek Balam (highly recommend!). Staying here left me feeling refreshed. I would absolutely without a doubt stay here again and again!

Nice spacious apartment and super friendly area We had 2 nights stop in Valladolid. The apartment on the ground floor is a good sized room with separated Kitchen/diner. Basic equipment but perfectly adequate, and a good shower. We didn’t find the actual property straight away, but it seemed the whole community came out to the street to help us! The managers/owners of the property are next door and were happy to take our bags as we were early. We were recommended Marisqueria Gonzalez restaurant by a friend – a 25min walk away but it was shut so check first! We found Bistro just a couple of corners away and would highly recommend. We did Chechen Iza (full of fridge magnets but still worth it). Ek Balam (great alternative to Chechen Iza plus a great Cenote), and in town Xkopek was quaint. Parking outside apartment or nearby was fine just out on the street.
