Beautifully decorated, elegant apartment near town - Pass the Keys

Great location. Comfortable with plenty of space. Flat was very light and beautifully furnished.

Entrance hall smelt damp and was very gloomy.

Loved the location. Room well equipped. Easy parking behind property (unsure why charged for separately as if we did not use it - it would have been vacant. 5 min walk and you are in the centre of Shrewsbury, 2 mins walk to Severn theatre which we used and enjoyed. We took a boat trip. Loved Yak & Yeti restaurant and the market (fab homemade samosas). Visited Ellesmere, Church Stretton and its waterfall, Attington Park and Ludlow. Would recommend all.

Nothing. If mine I would have put a small table to eat at in window space. We managed anyway.

Amazing room and beautifully decorated, excellent location being close to town. Very comfortable bed. Watching the local wildlife in the morning.

Sadly we arrived during a cold snap and the room was freezing cold, we turned up the radiators but it didn't help, we spent the following afternoon in wether spoons to keep warm. The hot water was either boiling hot or cold with no control. The macerator kept making groaning noises even when not in use.

Truly a trip back in time, in all ways. Pretty apartment that is clean, just as shown in photos BUT the all electric utilities were stuck in the Middle Ages. Luckily there was a phone line available to support, but having to choose between heat, light and a warm shower was not ideal on a few cold winter days.

Upon entering the apartment we were happy to find heat and flicked on the lights to sit down. Within a few minutes we were in the dark and realized a fuse had blown. Over next two nights we had consistent outages, even at night with no lights on the fuse would blow and we woke up each morning in the freezing cold. The saddest end of our stay came when we woke up with no heat, flipped the fuse box back on and I hopped in the shower. I kept the lights off to save off losing power, but I was not so lucky. I found myself stuck in a dark bathroom, half washed and no heat, climbing out to once again flip the fuse. Honestly, I can understand someone enjoying their stay in the summer when heat is not needed, but I would not recommend a stay here any other time.

The apartment was tastefully done. There was croissants, milk etc waiting for us which was a nice touch

Very comfortable and well equipped. Also a very nice welcome from the neighbours in a good location for town nightlife and eating out. A very nice touch was the welcome pack which included milk,orange Juice & butter & croissants thank you.
