Swan lodge

The house was spacious and very clean, had all the kitchen utensils we needed. The view was amazing, especially the master bedroom overlooking the lake was wonderful. Two toilet facilities at each level was convenient. there were heating in each room. Parking space was just outside the frond door. I could order in online, I could log into my Netflix account and there was wifi. we had a lovely holiday with my parents and my daughter. Personal items were stored in wardrobes so the house did not have the bad feeling of 'somebody else's home'. Instead I felt like it was my own home.

I couldn't work out how the heating at the living room worked.

Gorgeous location, lovely spacious dining/living area with super comfy sofas. The master bedroom is really nice with amazing views over the lake and there is a lovely outside seating area too. The host was contactable and provided cleaning products when we asked as there initially wasn't anything to wipe the kitchen surfaces/wash up with.

The two beds in each of the smaller bedrooms are pull out and really not suitable for adults. They may be ok if you had one person in each room but when extended to make two beds the bed slats fall out of their slots when you move/roll over and leave you falling through the bed frame and unable to sleep. The upstairs toilet seat was broken and caused you to slide off but that's a simple fix that the host is now aware off.

An absolutely beautiful cottage, nestled close to the entrance overlooking the lake. The decoration was crisp, clean colours and gave a beach vibe. The cottage was much bigger than I anticipated and Hannah was an amazing host. I highly recommend this cottage as the location and setting is breathtaking.

The only two things I can fault are the beds are very noisy and the mattress is slightly uncomfortable. It was difficult to maintain a constant comfortable temperature in the shower.

a different house that was given than the shown in the booking.com website, we were never informed about this until we checked in. Very poorly furnished bedrooms and creaky beds Utensils not clean in kitchen

Nice location, Lake view , affordable price, neat accomodation, and facilities.

The reception procedure was confused. provided PIN code was not easy to find.

needs some attention, the electricity shut down and had to be re set & severely doors have locks damaged
