Forest Villa Yamanakako

Beautiful location, loved the mountain bikes that we rented to go around and the BBQ and bonfire kit that we reserved. We have bought some juicy wagyu beef burgers and grilled them ourselves. The villa has a wonderful sitting area with tatami mats, practical kitchen and you can even run some laundry. Last but not least to mention, she is the best host ever. We got a welcome drink offered, she made us some proposals for things to do in the are and she helped us out with making arrangements getting back to Tokyo which was not that easy as as we overlooked to reserve the highway bus. She even brought us with all our luggage to the train station.

As advertised, the villa is located in a forest but not too deep inside, we are able to see Mount Fuji from our villa! It is a big and warm hut near to Lake Yamanakako, my parents slept in the room and we slept in the tatami area. You can cook/BBQ, there is small bath tub too:) The welcome drink coffee is tasty too!

Great location, very cosy and comfortable. Very clean. Amazing staff super friendly! We stayed at the Villa B and we could see the top half of the Mt Fuji from the bed when the sky is clear.

Would have been better if there is a curtain by the bed as there is a large window.

Sparkling clean, stunning view, sufficient heating in cold spring

Mattress too soft, pillow too hard, suggest to install curtains for all windows and main door to improve privacy

The people who run this place are superb. They help you organise your day, provide ideas and ensure you have a good time.

The outdoor environment is really great.can BBQ

The indoor accommodation is relatively narrow, with only one bathroom and toilet，and the ladder to the attic is rather sloping。

The hosts were extremely helpful and courteous with a freshly made coffee each morning. The accommodation was spacious and well appointed and the location excellent. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you could need. An excellent place to explore the Mt. Fuji area. Couldn’t be happier.
