La Casa de Pino

I liked everything. Every little thing. From Hector and Martin who met us at the door and showed us around to the room, pool, shared kitchenette. Absolutely everything was wonderful.

I didn't like having to leave.

The spaces are beautiful, really nice to relax by the pool, tan at the roof, rooms are spacious and super comfortable. The amenities are more than you need, including complementary drinks and snacks. The location is perfect - you are close and walking distance from everything while still being in a quieter area. What really makes Casa de Pino special is how attentive Hector and his team are. They really treat you like family.

Beautiful room, great location, friendly and kind hosts! There is a small kitchen in the room, but there is also a large common kitchen on the ground floor with lots of drinks and snacks available to all. Highly, highly recommend!

This is a fantastic place to stay and great value for money. In a great location, it is easily walkable to the centre and has plenty of cafes, bars, and restaurants very close by. The staff are wonderful. I was due to be arriving via the overnight bus from the coast, and the staff went out of their way to have the room ready for me at 9.30 am. They also gave me a free upgrade, which was wonderful. Anything you need, the staff are there for and very response. I handed in some laundry, and it was returned within a few hours the same day. The room was spacious, clean, and bright, and the bed was really comfy. The room had a kitchen space, and the hotel offers free tea and coffee, breakfast snacks, and even a fridge stocked with beer. As soon as you walk in from the street, it feels like an oasis of calm. Everything in the hotel uses codes for access, and this made the hotel feel really safe and secure, and you also didn't have to worry about carrying a key around. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting the city.

The only negative, and for me it is a small one, is that noise carries within the shared spaces, so that if anyone is up late in the shared spaces and talking / laughing, this does echo around the building and can be heard in the rooms. However, in the main the hotel was very peaceful and it was away from the noise of the very centre of the city which I liked.

There was a very nice and generous spread for breakfast. You could also stop by at night and take a few goodies back to your room if you wanted to stay in your room in the morning and not eat at the breakfast bar. The rooms are beautiful and super clean. The owner has thought of everything. You have a very large room, dining table, makeup table, armoir with hangers, an ironing board and iron, chest of drawers, kitchenette with a hot plate, microwave, full size refrigerator, coffee maker, clean water, tea, coffee, snacks, and a gorgeous comfortable big bed. The pool area is delightful and clean. They also offer free snacks, mezcal, and beer in this area. The owners and manager are SUPER nice and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend!!

I liked everything about this place. Exceptional.

Loved everything from the rooftop terrace to the swimming pool in addition to the spacious room. This accommodation excels in facilities: pool towels, yoga mats, sombreros, scooters, a fully stocked fridge, a proper coffee machine, and the list goes on and on! Last but not least, the owner (and returning guests!) will warmly welcome you to this gem of a place in Oaxaca.

The property is beautiful. The rooms are very spacious and the owner is absolutely the BEST… Breakfast was set up downstairs which was wonderful…

Everything! Hector and Martin are wonderful hosts, the property and room were immaculate and you can't beat the price. Plus, free beer at the pool?! Unheard of! Can't recommend staying here enough.

Amazing place to stay while visiting and exploring Oaxaca. It is very centrally located but yet quiet to stay. The owner, Hector, was very hospitable and caring and advised on anything. The open kitchen and pool are an additional asset. Would and hope to stay again
