A bit of a difficult check-in process but they were helpful.

The location is very convenient — close to downtown Minneapolis and easily accessible on foot. The building itself has historic charm and character, which gives it a unique atmosphere. Communication with the host was generally prompt and polite, and I appreciated their willingness to address reported issues.

Unfortunately, the stay was disappointing. Upon arrival, the shower was not properly cleaned and had hair left behind. The water pressure was extremely weak, making it almost impossible to take a full shower or feel properly clean. Although maintenance later improved the pressure, the showerhead was partially dismantled and no longer adjustable, so the problem was only partly resolved. There were also spider webs in the room corners, and overall cleanliness did not meet expectations. Noise insulation between units was very poor — I could hear neighbors’ conversations, footsteps, and even their microwave, which made it hard to relax.

The lighting, the entertainment were the best part of the room.

The shower pressure was non existent.

Cost of the stay was moderate, significantly less than the cost of good nearby hotels. Good location -- short walk to many restaurants and easy access to shops. Good temperature control. The room was a good size and clean when we arrived.

Noisy: little sound protection from outside (traffic noises, etc.) and inside (muffled voices and sounds from the room next door). Poor water pressure in the shower. Shades did a mediocre job of keeping the room dark at night and early morning. No closet -- clothes had to be hung on a pull-out arm hanging from the wall. Bed was comfortable, but small. No elevator; our room was a 3rd floor walk-up.

The code for access could not be obtained until the check-in day. Having travelled for several hours before arriving this was very annoying and complicated. The hot plate didn't work. I was informed that it would be replaced but it never happened. I was informed that I would be compensated by one free night.

The property was a great find, considering it's location and value for money.

The only doswnside was it has no elevator but we were able to carry our luggage from first floor. Also, staff was claiming he sent us an emial Regarding the check in instructions and i was looking for it in my email and trip . Com account, but i did not dind it. I was only able to check all of the messages and he sent it to the WRONG THREAD (the prior booking which I cancelled). He was even upset that there was no way he can reach me out (but thankfully, called thru Whatsapp), and even stated "you booked thru a third party app" (like it was my fault?) and the csr was very poor. Otherwise, our stay in the hotel was great.

Nice room with all you need

Not flexible at all in how early you could check in and very early check out, they charge you extra $25 if you need to check out at 11am, they want you out by 10am. Front desk person rude.
