On The Beach @ South Sands.No 2

Alan and Viv are the best.. from the reservation to check-out they keep in touch.. made everything easy.. instructions and everything made easy... the place has the nicest view.. the kitchen had every utensil you'd need... Provided safeguarding gate for the little one since there's a steep staircase.. very clean and comfortable.. WiFi is very good but not much on the room with twin beds... Comfortable.. attention to detail.. chocolate in every room.. outdoor furniture...

The unit was clean and tidy. Beautiful views. Peaceful and relaxing. The beach was only a short walk away. The hosts Alan and Viv was very helpful and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The fishing was exceptional and managed to catch a few fish on our stay.

Clean, tranquil and beautiful 😍 the property was so comfortable and spacious. Alan and Viv put alot of love into this gem which is well equipped (even has a first aid kit). There's alot of stairs.... to trek luggage is a workout but once you're inside the property you'll forget about everything. Plenty of warm bedding, kitchen has everything (just needs an airfryer 😃) deck was my favorite place to just chill and do lots of whale spotting 🐋 Can't wait to come back again ♥️

The South Coast has water shortages but South Sands has 7 water tanks!!! The community of Glenmore needs to address the water issue with the municipality as people and businesses are suffering without any water for awhile. Alan is a champ because he's always in contact with the councilors. Thank you Alan for being so accommodating, helpful and thoughtful 🙏

For a very refreshing change to the norm, the place advertised looks much better in presence than the photos on the website! On the Beach @ South Sands. No.2 is an absolute gem of a place to stay and absolutely worth every cent! Proximity to the beach is fantastic! The thoughtfulness of Alan and Viv is exemplary and market-leading. South Sands No.2 has been thoroughly equipped with all catering requirements for everyday usage. It is definitely a 'home' away from home! @ South Sands No.2 is an absolute gem on the South Coast!

We had a lovely family holiday at On the Beach over Easter. Alan was very communicative throughout and shared detailed instructions for everything to make our stay as comfortable and safe as possible. The unit itself is very well equipped for a self-catered stay and has rechargeable lightbulbs and portable lamps for load shedding. The complex has its own private path down to the beach – it’s only a minute’s walk away. The area felt safe for runs and walks and the beach is pristine. There are many other tourist attractions in close proximity, including the Munster Classic Car Museum and the Red Desert. One thing to note – there’s a fair distance between the parking and the unit with many steps. This may be an issue for people with mobility issues. I highly recommend Alan’s place – we had a 5-star stay!

It has everything you need and the beach is right on your doorstep. Such a lovely unit. We'll definitely be back.

Clean, comfortable, great view, easy access to the beach & essentially home away from home with a beach😊 Completely safe with highly effective & efficient security measures. We really enjoyed the time & can recommend.

The steps from the car park to the unit (& to the beach) kept us fit! Anyone with the slightest mobility issues will not navigate the stairs as they are hectic. Carrying the luggage etc was not easy at all.
