I loved the fact that there was a pool table and piano since it rained the whole weekend and they didn't require electricity to play!

The weather affected the electricity in the whole area for over 24 hours. this meant, no fridges, no lights, no wifi, no cellphone use due to communication towers being offline.

It was spacious and airy and well appointed with plenty of comfortable furniture and a gas stove and water heater (A bonus in this climate of endless loadshedding!). The hostess was helpful and accommodating too.

Our only slight disappointment was the fact that there was no shower, only a bath, but it was not a huge problem as we were only there for two nights!
