The unit was absolutely amazing! The unit was super clean, the bed was so comfortable and the aircon saved us on those super hot days!! It has everything you need.

I really enjoyed my stay at Peacock Cottage. The location was great, with convenient parking and a lovely view. The facilities were nice, especially the pool, which we really enjoyed. It’s also very close to the Wild Coast, which made getting around easy. The place was fairly clean and comfortable overall. A pleasant stay and a relaxing holiday.

Unfortunately, there were some serious issues during our stay. When we had visitors over for a braai, security repeatedly came to tell us that our visitors had to leave, despite us previously confirming with security that visitors were allowed. However, when a very serious incident occurred involving an intoxicated man who pointed a gun at a family member, physically assaulted him, and pulled out a bush knife, security never came to assist or even check on the situation. The family member involved was a 20-year-old young man who was being falsely accused. We were also verbally threatened and told to “watch our backs.” I contacted the cottage owner during the incident and was told that management would come through to assist, but this never happened and the matter was never resolved. There was no follow-up, no support, and no intervention from security or management, despite the severity of the situation. It was extremely disappointing that security was quick to intervene over visitors, yet failed to respond when there was a genuine safety concern. This lack of support made the experience very uncomfortable and left us feeling unsafe.

The place was very well done up

It was unfortunately not maintained very well. Cleanliness especially in the bathroom was extremely poor which made our stay abit uncomfortable.

Everything in that place was fantastic thanks again we will come back nxt year
