Uptown Treehouse

I loved the sunroom and pool table. The updated feel.

The house was suitable but was not fond of the location. The down stairs was full of junk and 2 ac units, not cooling apartment to my liking. The house was clean but could have been better as the small details make a difference.

We has a bit of confusion but only due to lock box blending in.

The microwave did not work all other kitchen equipment good but big let down for reheating meals. Also the main attraction to me and my spouce was the pool table but upon arrival we realized both sticks were brokwn at the tips. That was a big let down for us.

Love the lay out and space, great location!!!

pool sticks need to be replaced the tips are broken.

The place needs maintenance because is an old place.

I feel like my stay at uptown treehouse added to the asthetic of the Nola trip. I loved it. Comfy and private. Convenient personal parking. Comfy bed. Pool table was a plus!

Communication between booking.com and the host was lacking, leaving me to coordinate everything myself. No confirmation from host until I followed up. No check in/out instructions until I followed up. They need new pillows on the bed and futon those are not comfortable at all.

The bed was the only positive as it was very comfortable. It only had two pillows in the whole place though. For the main bed and the sofabed.

Where do I begin? Firstly, we didn’t even complete our stay. We arrived later in evening and were exhausted. It was dark and directions to get in were not very clear. It was very dark and no outdoor lighting and not in the best neighborhood. As soon as we opened the door we smelled cat pee and saw a messy laundry area. We went up the crooked steps to find our flat and immediately learned the door does not lock. There was no way to secure our possessions while staying there. The place was filthy with cobwebs everywhere. Mold on the ceiling in the bedroom and an AC unit that was loud and pumping musty air. We crashed because we were exhausted only to wake up with sore throats and my daughters asthma was really bad. We messaged host and left immediately to stay at a hotel. This place needs a lot of work and has water damage from hurricane that we were not informed of. Also bathroom door does not shut. We had to use trashcan to keep it closed. Area did not seem safe at night as people were smoking marijuana in streets right outside on street and playing loud music until 1am.
