The bed was the only thing i can honestly say good about this place

It was in the middle of a BAD community. There were young children walking around with guns and selling drugs on the corners of the street. it was very smelly on the inside of the house!

we enjoyed the character of the house since it looks like it was built early 1900's? The master bedroom was nice, kitchen remodel was great. We enjoyed the pool table

Very limited hot water for showers, and the tub is hard to use. I am a shower person and the shower head is handheld, but everything is piecemeal. I just sat down in the tub for a shower. The "tv room" has a futon which is the only extra bed besides the master bedroom. the futon looked like it was shredded by a mountain lion and my husband felt like he was getting bit by fleas (my husband is "sensitive"). The tv/futon room was also very hot as it looks like it used to be a balcony/porch. The window unit air conditioner in the master bedroom would turn off and on based on room temperature. It sounds like a jet engine on a runway when it turns on and it would wake me up from sleep thinking a jet plane was taking off. There were two air mattresses in the pool table room. We ended up buying pillows and blankets/sheets, and towels since there was only one blanket and two pillows for the whole house! The kitchen was updated and decently stocked. The can opener doesn't work. :(. The neighborhood was a little sketchy, but I felt decently safe. We got there on 4th of July and people were lighting firecrackers until late (not a big deal). I think if a new window unit is installed in the master bedroom and a nice bed with clean linens replaces the pool table, and the shower is tweaked a little, I believe it will be pretty nice. It looks like they are still remodeling.

I absolutely love Victorian style houses, this is an amazing little spot close to downtown new Orleans.

Wifi and nothing else

Cockroaches, false advertising, lack of security as windows did not shut or lock, in a rough part of the neighbourhood, paid for 3 guests and only given linen for 2. Advertised two bedrooms, however one of the bedrooms contained a pool table and air-conditioner. The lounge room had a couch and was used as the second bed. Was only given two towels and no bath mats. Bathroom door did not shut. Laundry area was unkept and dirty. There were a number of large cockroaches were seen and killed. When the owner was notified of the cockroaches and a request was made for bug spray, my messages were t ignored and unanswered.

Did not stay it was totally disgusting. Horrible! Booking.com should be shut down for placing on line should be accountable.

Be jerked out of my money and never an apology. Nasty place, creepy neighborhood and mold smell as soon as door opened.

It´s a good place for a small company. It´s cozy and located in a good neighborhood (at least, I felt quite safe there). This type of building is very typical for Louisiana, and it was a pleasure to feel New Orleans through it. There is a pool table in one of the rooms that I find quite beneficial)

Minor things: - bathroom door didn't lock (or even close) properly so it can cause some embarrasing moments for 3 adults) We used chair to fully close the door; - there was no sponge in the kitchen so it was a bit difficult to properly wash dishes (we cooked) We didn't inform Owner of the house about them cause they really did not spoil our staying there but just for future.

Convienient and comfortable. Peaceful and great little hide away

The stove location worried me.
