It had a homely feel, nice and quiet. Nicely decorated.

Much smaller than it seems based on the pictures. The window in the small bedroom ( ground floor flat) can not be locked with the latch, so felt uneasy in the night as our children slept in there. I notified the contact person so hopefully this will be resolved. Also, the boiler is right next to the headboard of one of the single beds ( ground floor apartment) although it is boxed in, I didn’t like the fact that my daughter’s head was inches away from it every night. The day we arrived ( Saturday), there was no available parking at all !!!!!! There were far more cars then parking spaces. Some cars were parked on the pavement and on grassy areas. All those got a penalty notice. We also had to park on the pavement when we arrived to unload our luggage and my husband stayed near the window to keep an eye on it while we settled in. Eventually we decided to go out just to move the car. When we came back 2 hours later ( around 9pm) I dropped kids and husband off and drove around the local streets for half an hour. I was so stressed and tired at this point I ended up with a headache. Not the relaxed feeling I was hoping for on the first evening of my only holiday in the entire year :( I eventually found one single parking spot 5 minutes walk away. We left the car there the next day and walked everywhere because nobody moved their car! There was some movement on Monday and Wednesday morning ( when we left) around 10am ( check out time) when people were leaving their accommodations so I suggested you time your arrival between 10 am and 2:30 ( check in time) for the best chance to get a parking spot.
