Good location and facilities. Prompt and detailed communication by hosts. Beautiful decor.

The mattress was worn out and unsupportive. I had poor quality sleep. The pillows could have been more comfortable, too.

The property was very clean, warm and exactly as describe. Not only was there a toaster and kettle but they also supplied a microwave, sandwich toaster and a slow cooker. There were things that I wasn’t expecting to be supplied eg cleaning products, soap, shower gel, tea, coffee etc. There was also a file supplied with information of what was nearby and also information of things to do and see.

There was nothing to not like.

The property was ideal for my stay. It was clean, comfortable and had everything that I needed. A lovely location, easy to find with parking available. The slice of cake was a lovely welcoming treat to have with a cup of tea, when I'd unpacked.

Firstly; contrary to what older reviews say; THERE IS A KITCHEN SINK! You can see it in a photograph that I took (to the left of my ukulele). Secondly; it is only a short walk away from a very well-stocked supermarket (a Spar). That’s not something you can take for granted in this locality! Locals come from miles around to use it; so it’s not “Tourist prices”. This allowed me to make use of the other facilities in the kitchenette area, such as the fridge and microwave. Thank you Rebecca and Paul for the cake and the jug of milk. The provision of local Ordnance Survey maps was also much appreciated as it enabled me to discover the Linton Falls! The shower was simple to operate with a good water temperature. The heating in the main room was fully adjustable. The bed was comfortable and everything was well decorated and clean. Check-in and check-out was straightforward. The keys are in a box outside and the combination to the lock was sent to me in advance. The beautiful rural location was really quiet and peaceful; near the end of a private country lane that leads to the local rugby club. The property adjoins the home of the owners; so it didn’t feel too isolated. My other photo shows the view from the front door.

There was nothing to dislike. I look forward to staying again soon and for a longer time.
