Everything we needed was there

Bed wasnt the most comfortable but I suppose everyone prefers their own

We made our own breakfast as we had all of the amendments to do so - absolutely loved the surroundings and how peaceful everything is when we are there - definitely will be going back again to visit. :)

Nothing - Everything was great! This isn't the first time we have stayed and not the last either. We very much enjoy it every time, beautiful surroundings and close to everything we need! Lovely hosts and very easy to get hold of if we need anything!

Everything- having stayed at both the shepherds hut and the Yew tree cottage both exceed in every way and Chris and Jill provide a first class window into village life for you to step into. Recommend the village pub ye olde forge also great food and very friendly with the bonus of been a short walk away

Liked everything

Loved the location, was so peaceful. Only a short drive into Scarborough and other areas. Loved the hanging rail in the bathroom storage for clothes, very cleverly thought out. Welcome drink waiting on arrival along with some information on the local facilities. Absolutely loved our stay and we have already looked at rebooking next month.

Couldn't fault the hut at all. Only thing I would recommend is be careful about leaving windows open when the hut is empty. We arrived after a few rainy days and there was quite a lot of water on the table where the visitors book and drinks were left. Apart from that everything was perfect.
