Shepherd s Hut Cosy Farm Stay Sleeps 2

Exactly as described, very well equipped and a nice experience. Not something we’d tried before but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nice location, very quiet at nights, good sleep both nights. We ate both nights at the Forge Inn which was very good. Took the bus to Scarborough which was very easy so didn’t need to use the car at all. We were able to make bacon sarnies and tea for breakfast and the fridge kept our drinks etc cold.

The bed was tight for length for me but slept ok for two nights.

The Shepherd's Hut was well equipped and decorated with good use made of the available space. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for the shower. The outside seating provided a pleasant place for breakfast.

This is a very cute shepherd's hut, it has been nicely decorated with a sheep theme throughout. Lots of extra blankets and pillows were provided and it even has a miniture bath tub. It is set in a private garden with apple trees and there are horses I the fields behind.There are fairy lights and solar lights along the path which were very practical and well as aesthetically pleasing. They provided two miniture bottles of wine and glasses on arrival which was a thortful touch. The kitchen area was small but functional, they provided pans, cutting knifes and even a tin opener which alot of self catering places forget.

It's only minor things that were missing such as a mounted mirror in the bathroom and it could do with bedside tables/shelves as my husband had no where to put his glasses. The bed was really comfortable but is not a full size double.

Excellent little place. Just had a perfect two night break away from it all. The owner has thought of every little detail. Lovely location with a pub serving excellent gluten free dishes across the road. Cant rate it highly enough.
