Arcadia with sea views

The appartment is very well equipped, in a very good shape, and very clean. The view from the balconies is great. The description is met by the place. In fact, at least I missed that both sleeping rooms have an own bathroom with toilet and shower (plus the additional toilet) which was very convenient for us, since parents and teenage kids had separate bathrooms. As we had been visiting in August, we were very happy that the air conditioning (in fact it is one in each sleeping room and one in the salon) worked very well. Although the closest beach is (as is described) quite small, we appreciated that it was by far less crowded than the larger ones. While it is a sand beach, one has to be aware of (larger) stones in the sea. As is also written in other comments, the walking distance to the beach is about 10 minutes (mostly downhill and thus uphill when going back), since there is not a direct (bird's flight) path. The area is a very calm residential area which we really appreciated, especially when passing through some of the more touristic hotspots. A car is certainly helpful for shopping and a larger variety of restaurants etc. There is an own parking lot in front of the appartment. The (digital) communication with the staff (Koke) was smooth and efficient. In summary, we had a really great time and loved the place.

It is not really a criticism, but more a maybe helpful comment for others. The entrance to the complex is rather steep and the parking lot is the first one which means that (depending on the type of car and abilities of the driver) it can be a little challenging to park if the lot next to it is occupied. A compact SUV is preferable to a Seat Leon Sportstourer that we had as rental car, and I can imagine that for even longer cars it can really become challenging. ( I was definitely happy that the car had automatic transmission.) Of course, parking spaces in Spain are often rather narrow. While the appartment was really very well equipped , I would have liked to have some towel holders or hooks in the bath rooms. While one sleeping room had curtains that transmit only very few light, this is not the case in the other room, so the kids complained that it became to bright in the morning.

This is a very comfortable, well appointed property with fabulous terraces and outside space. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. It is peaceful and yet within easy walking distance of restaurants, cafe and a shop. The train is a good asset within walking distance and gives access to Malaga and other locations along the Costa. One of my favourite things was the swing chair on the terrace, a great place to relax.

We visited out of season so could not sample the pool. That would have been nice as the weather was hot for February. The lovely terraces made up for it.

The location - a bit far away although the train station is a 10 min walk and bus 10 min walk up and down hills. Steep driveway when coming into the property. 10 min walk to a beach which is rocky further 10 min walk to sandy coves. No information provided about the area. Lovely pool but no chairs or blanket provided to sit on. Controls on the stove have worn away so it is guesswork on how it works.
