Tanglewood

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful bungalow. It was peaceful, comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding area while still enjoying a relaxing retreat. Everything we needed was provided, and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to others.

The conservatory is especially nice! Generally everything was great offering a comfortable stay.

The traffic noise was a little intrusive at times.

Comfy beds, well equipped with dvd’s, the internet worked well, the heating was good, the property was a great size, the bath and shower were good - loved seeing the chickens each day.

The towels were quite small and were microfibre vs traditional towelling so just a personal thing but not my favourite - also there’s a lack of blinds/curtains in the conservatory, kitchen and hallway leaving it feeling a little exposed.

Excellent accommodation clean well equipped and comfy beds. Great view from rear of property My dog liked the chickens next door !

Only downside was noise from busy road traffic bungalow is set back from road though

I booked this lovely place for my three elderly aunts who were visiting from Ireland. What a find! The accommodation is spacious and the beds (I'm told) very comfortable. There was a slight issue with my booking via booking.com inasmuch as it put down that 1 person was booked in. There wasn't a problem when I phoned and I was met with understanding over it. Access to the accommodation is off a main road with an electronic gate which made for a safe and secure location. All in all I'd highly recommend the place to anyone and everyone.

Great location and facilities, lots of lovely children's toys for small people. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. The house was lovely and warm on arrival which given the cold snap was much appreciated. The beds were very comfortable and the provided information folder was super useful.
