8F Lakeside Lodge Caer Beris Builth Wells - No Tradesman

The furnishings were very modern but the lodge itself is dated. We really enjoyed the walk around the lake and the privacy of the Lodge.

We were not keen on the bed linen was old fashioned we would of preferred just white not a ruffled grey but that is just our preference.

Nice quiet location. Some nice touches in the accommodation and kitchen very nice. Lovely huge new decking area and outside seating. Towels and cleaning products included. Both double beds quite comfy. Plot is very quiet and secluded but nothing else to do on the site. Good for a quiet few days away though. Easy communication from host

No signage to waste area, found via having a walk around site Bad smell coming from lake, rotting ground bait. Lake not accessible so some info in welcome book needs updating Single bedroom can’t really be describe as a room, more of a storage cupboard. This property really is 2 bedroom. This single room also has mould right about head on wall. Mould in quite a few places, such as bathroom and no extraction unit Outside guttering broken and water running down side of property Tv didn’t work - only smart channels All chairs and legs were loose. I tightened all of them up as didn’t not feel safe. Not hosts fault but walk over river which is a public footpath has been locked from otherwise by landowner, so no pleasant or safe walk into town

Check in very easy. Site is very neat and clean. Decking area is great.

Like a few of the reviews TV wouldn't work so 4 middle aged men on a golf break were forced to talk. Beds comfortable. Plenty of space. 3rd bedroom was rather small.

Really nicely presented, warm and clean in a lovely setting overlooking the lake with no immediate neighbours the lodge is in a beautiful part of the park

A bit awkward to locate the property on arrival, some directions and details of how to locate the property when key code details are sent prior to check-in would be really helpful for those arriving in the dark.

Beautiful Lodge, very clean and well equipped, very peaceful and relaxing location, just what we needed

A peaceful riverside location for the comfortable cabin. Particularly liked the little rockery behind the cabin.
