The property was clean and we enjoyed our stay - just wish it was not raining so we could have used the patio. It was a great place for dogs but kept on lead in main park area. So ideal for our short stay before local dog show.

Two issues although neither spoiled our short term stay - possibly would it longer. !) The patio window is large and clear and ideal for a kid to run into it when closed, if running on to the patio - needs a transfer or similar to show it is closed - or just don't clean it!! 2) I had no idea how to work the TV from the instructions given "make sure PVR button is pressed on the black controls"? what PVR button & black controls? I eventually got BBC i player but not sure if there ever was any 'normal telly'?

The area was nice and peaceful

The rug in the front room was a safety hazard Slight marks on the wall by the toilet which looked like poo Light outside only lit up the end of the decking not any lights anywhere else so you could watch your dogs Decor was nice but the outside looked a little bit tatty And if we had stopped longer there was a lack of storage space and we felt the bedrooms were quite small Not the owners fault but there's no where sign posted to where the rubbish goes on the site The chairs to the table some were wobbly

We liked the accommodation, location and price

The living room area on a cold April night was quite cool.. The single small radiator is insufficient. The heaters in the bedrooms are excellent

This lodge provided us with a good night stay for our half way point to South Wales. The lodge has benefited from some modernisation which is good. Some little touches such as coffee, sugar, jam and biscuits were welcomed but some milk would have been good too for our first drink on arrival before venturing to the local shops for supplies. The site is very quiet and has no facilities on site, the town is a short drive away. We couldn’t find any waste facilities on the site meaning that we needed to take our rubbish away with us following our stay. The lodge is situated in a quiet area near the lake which provided us with some lovely bird visitors during the evening and in the morning. Overall a nice stay.
