Funk in the City - Luxury Laneway Apartment with 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms and Single Garage

Clean, compact but room enough for 2 couples with separate bathroom facilities and a privacy door that shut one room and bathroom off from the rest of the apartment. Great location with walking to the city.

Not private at all, you look directly into other apartments, but I guess that is apartment living.

Cosy and feel at home. The apartment is tastefully furnished and well equipped.

The beds are a little small but we do understand it's because of space constraints.

Location was excellent. Use of garage ideal, it is small but big enough for our Outlander, just.

I accidentally left 2 pillows and a chilly bag behind in the fridge. The chilly bag was packed and contained beer, wine, cheeses and a half bottle of gin. I wanted them back! Getting hold of someone was difficult. And when I eventually did get a respose, it took ages to organise to collect. The cleaner had found the chilly bag but seems to have thought that we wouldn't want our chilly bag back.... It was hard work but we did recover most of our items, no gin though. I would have thought that if a guest has left loose food items in the fridge, they mean for them to be found and used by others. Finding a fully packed chilly bag should indicate to the finder that they have been left by accident and those guests contacted and items stored for them. It was a very disappointing experience. And on a separate note, the beds are very, very hard. Husband likes a firm mattress but this was too hard even for him.

Great place to stay. Very modern and so close to everything in the CBD
