Breathing Space

The moment we checked out of the property was the only highlight of our stay there.

The overall experience was the worst really. The property was freezing cold.. We have kids with us. As soon as we checked in we were told that the temperature is locked at fixed settings and we can't change it as per our requirements. Something like that was clearly not mentioned at the time of booking otherwise we would have never booked this. Then we requested to change the settings as this won't work, the host and the logic he had is as previous "guests" have abused the heating so he has it locked now. Which is totally absurd. Then the host came and was clearly not happy and very intimidating towards us. He changed the settings "apparently" but it was not working. We and the kids had to spend the whole night in such a bad and cold apartment. The neighbors kept on screaming the whole night. We were literally counting the hours for our check out. Then the top of the host kept on messaging in a threatening way that the house should be clean otherwise he will charge us extra...? I'm really appalled at how one can be so rude and condescending while dealing with their guests. We have traveled to more than 10 countries while staying at multiple locations/hotels/Airbnb and this one just won the worst ever experience.

We found that the sofa bed was full of dust and that our some of family members are sensitive to it, so we messaged the owner asking if he can sent a cleaning staff to take care of it. He responded by implying that we should have specified that from the beginning, that he has guests regularly and that the bed sheet has been cleaned every time (a roundabout way of saying only you have the problem). Soon after the conversation, the owner actually showed up in person to claim that there was no dust (the dust wasn't on the bedding sheet but in fact accumulated in the bed, it flew out when you sit or hit on it). His behavior was intimidating and rude. he kept insisting that we checked out at 10.00 sharp and that we followed his "cleaning instruction" thoroughly. We felt that his cleaning instructions are excessive, like he is trying to avoid cleaning fee. He then threatened that if it wasn't as he instructed, he would charge us extra from the deposit. We didn't even directly complain to him because we are afraid he would showed up at the door again and hit us. That's how unsafe we felt. We ask that the Booking.com team protect us from this scary and unwelcoming owner.

La propreté et la vétusté des lieux. Moisissures dans le frigo, draps tâchés, présence de cheveux, WC sales et non nettoyés après le départ des précédents locataires (projections d’excréments). Grille pain salle. 3 ampoules sur 5 qui ne fonctionnent pas. Logement non chauffé avant l’arrivée. Bref, j’en passe. Déplorable à éviter !!!!

Esta un poco Lejos de la ciudad,la iluminación no era muy buena, baño y la del salón parpadeaba.

Close to food shops and the canal for walking, reasonable free parking available.

A fair bit of noise was coming from the upstairs flat on one night, You could hear them walking around all night. They were gone next night.
