North Face Dwelling at Ardenvale Self Catering

This was the perfect little spot to do all our exploring and hiking. Beautifully kept, peaceful and spotlessly clean. It was great to come home to a cosy and comfortable space after big days of hiking. I wish we could've stayed longer!

Really great location on the edge of town. Easy walk to forests and streams. Looks straight up at the mountains. Roomy accommodation overlooking horses peacefully grazing. Hosts are friendly and helpful but don't impose on your personal space. Bed is comfortable with good ventilation in the room. Kitchen well provided for cooking. Lots of free onsite parking.

All was great! Maybe the TV was a little high mounted on the wall in the lounge room? But we weren't holidaying in Scotland to watch TV 🤣

Very close to Ben Nevis where we biked each day.

No coffee machine, French press, moka pot. No way to make coffee!

The hosts were very friendly and homely. They provided recommendations of places to hike, where to get good shots of the Jacobite train passing bay and even brought us on a short walk in the woodlands nearby. It is also an excellent place to catch the northern lights on clear nights. Don't even need to drive out.

Friendly, helpful owners were there to greet us even though we turned up after 10 pm. We were very pleased with the place and perfect for Ben Nevis.

The only small feedback would be some more kitchen stuff, specifically glasses. But that's being very picky. Was really good.

This was a self-catering booking and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking at home or looking-after bought-in pizza and Chinese food. The beds were comfortable and very welcome after a day on Ben Nevis. The location, just a couple of miles from Fort William was ideal for Highlands exploration, the wi-fi was good and the owners were very supportive ( as well as owing a restaurant in the centre of Fort William). All-in-all if you want a comfortable place for a long week-end for three people in Fort William at a very reasonable price then this is the place for you.

Everything was fine for us but going-forward perhaps some boot-cleaning facility could be provided ?

It was a perfect place to stay in order to vist the Highlands. There were all thw aplliances needed for a family.

Paul and Lu Ying are very friendly and their place is very well located to hike in the Ben Nevis or in Glen Nevis valley

It was a lovely apartment with everything we needed in a beautiful , peaceful location. The hosts were lovely. Very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
