Borg Apartments

Simple but comfortable stay for a quick stopover. Well equipped kitchen if you want to eat at the apartment. Comfortable bed. Very clean apartment and everything we needed was available. Easy to get the keys from a lockbox and the building was quiet enough - no parties. Easy to park your car just steps from the apartment. Grocery store and an amazing handicraft store a couple of minute drive from the apartment.

We noticed in Iceland that the walls were in most places (including in this apartment) quite thin and we could hear neighbors watching tv or having a talk, but this is something that you cannot help. Thankfully everyone was quiet enough in the evening and it didn't disturb our sleep at all.

Overall the apartment was not cleaned. We found dishes and cookware badly washed with some food stains and the oven was full of grease inside, the shower drain was full of hairs and was slightly clogged, the water drained very slowly and the shower doors were dirty. Cleanliness is a basic thing. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned between guests. The room was excessively hot and opening the windows to cool it wasn't enough, we had to open the door to let some cool air in. Compared to other places where we stayed in Iceland it was an expensive stay for these poor quality. I wouldn't stay there again and wouldn't recommend it. The area may be worth staying but i would recommend to find another place.

Bright space with a comfortable bed

Unfortunately, the floor and the kitchen have definitely not been cleaned before our arrival: we found someone else’s crumbs and dirt. Low maintenance on some details (spotted walls, old shower, rusty bathroom window).

Great location. Close to Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss. Great hospitality by the host. The Apartment has everything needed for a family. Me and my family enjoyed our stay.

Great studio apartment with underfloor heating. Parking is right in front of the apartment. Easy check-in.

The kitchen has absolutely too few kitchen accessories, or almost none. For example just one fork.
