Borg Apartments

In the middle of iceland so the location was good! Quiet neighborhood! One pizzaria nearby was super delicious!

A bit small for two! But okey enough for 4 days

It was nice to stay where the locals live. Really comfy studio.

Spacious, great bathrooms and furnished kitchen. Heated floors and very warm inside.

It was great, nothing to dislike.

The location is very good if you would like to visit different areas from golden circle to vik. Some furniture a little oversized for the available space, but in general the dimensions are not that bad. To the owner: please write on the stove where is the high and where is the low temp. It took me a full dinner and a breakfast to get it right!!!

As you enter the apartment, you are immediately requested to do something! Then an A3 size paper gives you all kind of rules to respect: quite hours, cleaning, temperature of the house, garbage...and more...with fees if you do not respect this or that. The apartment has already some years and the floor has its own damages, so pointing that you cannot walk with shoes on it does not make any sense anymore. Temperature a little low compared with all other islandic places in which we stayed.

The location is great. It is a quite area and there is a free parking in front of the property. If the conditions are good, you can see the northern lights from a plot of land just near the property (it is a fairly dark place). The apartment is sufficiently big. It is warm and clean and the kitchen is very well equipped. Check in / check out process is very simple and the host is friendly and helpful. WiFi works very well. Great value for the money!

Would be great if the mattresses would be harder .

Location is convenient

The property is quite dated, the hob didn’t work properly as it didn’t heat up enough, it made cooking during our stay quite difficult. They also ask you to take out the trash and clean surfaces before you leave. I understand that you’re meant to wash up the dishes etc that you use, but the extent of their requests made me wonder if they clean properly before the next person comes. They also entered the apartment during our stay, without notifying us, and left a window open.
