Nice place, good value for money

Some kind of staff, either cleaner or manager kept knocking on doors in the morning disturbing our time.

Location Cleanliness

The apartment was clean and spacious, the carpets were soft and luxurious and it was fairly soundproof. It was well equipped in the kitchen with lovely, soft towels for the bathroom. Everything worked well and the organisation was spot on. Good WiFi signal and a good TV wth all the apps and plenty of seating in the living room including a dining area. Additionally, as we stayed over Christmas, the radiators gave out a really decent amount of heat. The area had a lot of amazing takeaways and restaurants including a Chai takeaway in the car park! Around the corner is Dixons ice cream, open until 10pm as well as the highly rated Shoulder of Mutton pub. Just up the road is a small Morrisons in one direction and a Premier shop in the other which cover most needs, and in the centre of Huddersfield, easily accessible, is Sainsbury's.

It may be worth taking your own oven gloves as these weren't provided. Additionally, I feel lamps in the bedrooms (on a beside table or small shelf) and living room would be a huge improvement as the 'big lights' were far too bright for relaxation.

This was my second stay at Alpha Lofts. The property itself is great and I would normally recommend ,but only if you do NOT need internet. The Wi-Fi situation is still abysmal, despite the hosts assuring me before booking that it had improved since my last visit in 2023. I stayed for one month, and the internet was absolutely unacceptable. The connection constantly dropped, there was no signal in the bedroom, and when the Wi-Fi did work, the speed was extremely slow. When I raised the issue, I was told the internet was “for streaming,” yet even basic streaming wasn’t possible. I was also told that I “got the room for cheap,” which is an unprofessional response, especially after they reassured me things had improved. If you need reliable internet for work, study, or even casual use, I would NOT recommend this property. But if internet access isn’t important to you, the property itself is otherwise great.

El tamaño del salón y de las habitaciones.

Muy poco limpio. El cuarto de baño es mucho peor del que aparece en las fotos. La cama de una de las habitaciones no estaba limpia. La zona es una zona industrial que estaba toda levantada por obras en la calle. Era muy difícil andar por allí y aparcar. En la cocina no habían dejado ni siquiera un poco de café, azúcar o sal (y eso que íbamos a estar dos semanas).
