Very beautiful place, clean, tidy, cosy The bathtub is to die for.😍Also, the bed was extremely comfortable. I had a very relaxing stay at Sherwood Lodge, exactly what I wanted and needed for my last days in New Zealand. Would definitely recommend this place.

Very quiet location with good facilities. Comfy beds, nice bathroom and kitchen facilities. Well equipped /stocked kitchen and lovely bathroom supplies provided. No problem with the stairs!

The pittosporum perfume filled the night air as I walked up the lane. Beautiful!

Was recovering from sickness which didn't give the same vibes, but lovely setting.

I loved the location surrounded by trees with the waterfalls flowing through the gardens, very tranquil and peaceful! And all the birds outside... The room was spacious, warm and very comfy, the separate entrance / balcony was very convenient and the window seat was my favorite spot to spend time researching my further trip. I was there mainly for a rest day and wasn't going out much, so for me it was perfect but if I had wanted to go out I could have just hopped on the bus down the road. Hosts were very responsive and helped me out with a little favour. All in all a beautiful spot with a lovely energy and I will definitely come back if I am in Christchurch again in the future.

I liked everything, but if there had been one of those little milks in the fridge for the tea, then that would have just topped it off!
