Sherwood, we love you. It was all the little touches… From the smell of daphne on arrival to the beautiful bathroom and the perfectly placed teaspoons…. Everything was “just so”. A space to retreat or a one night quick sleep, this place is a rare find. Quiet, private, even though there are communal areas it felt special. We appreciate the affordability because we can’t spend much on accommodation, but this was top class for us and we felt treated like royalty. Easy check in and out, beautifully presented and incredibly tidy and clean rooms, everything available that we needed. But. What we fell in love with most… was the garden. Oh my goodness. What you have done with a natural water course is amazing. We are here to try and deal with some water coming through an old property in the harbour, and your garden was inspirational. We will definitely be back. Thankyou!

Hi amazing place but unfortunately had a unfortunate situation with another guest and got worken up by them by trying to come in our room when drunk. They then clipped one of our cars when trying to leave but the cops were called. This was no way any fault of the owners and still recommend this amazing accommodation accept the parking is very tricky.

We self catered and the location was excellent for us

This is not a complaint or anything but the females in the group wondered if the bathroom windows were one way so you could see out but not in. They felt a bit exposed in the bathroom not knowing this:)
