Convenience for an event. Bed was comfortable. Cottage was warm and cosy on a very cold evening. The touch of leaving tea, coffee, milk , jam and pastries was very nice and felt welcoming.

My only criticism (and we were aware of this when booking) was the shared. Bathroom with toilet . It was a bit awkward first thing in the morning when the bathroom was in use and people wanted to use the toilet. Especially when other people using the cottage were not known to us. But being a listed property it may not be possible to put in a separate toilet.

The sitting room was a little drab compared to the rest of the cottage
