The Ark Guesthouse at Marina Martinique

Everything was wonderful. Hosts were very friendly. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

The terrace had a beautiful sunset view over the water. The bed was very big and comfy, the room was spacious.

The location is a little out of the city and you have to move by car. Even to the restaurants close by due to lack of light at night.

Richtig tolles eingerichtetes Studio. Wunderschöne kleine Terrasse mit tollem Blick. Es war alles sehr sauber und die Gastgeberin sehr hilfbereit und zuvorkommend! Haben last minute gebucht und hat alles bestens geklappt!

The booking arrangements were abit confusing but at the end it was all worth it

The host was exceptionally accommodating and amiable, making us feel truly welcomed.

Nothing really only the fact that we came late to the venue.

Dit is absoluut fantasties gewees, Roenel en haar man is 2 wonderlike mense. Die gratis bootrit was 'n groot bederf gewees. Dit was heerlik om op die bed te lê en by die deur uit te lê en staar na die water, eende/ganse en mooi huise daar buite en saans is orals liggies wat brand en op die water weerkaats. Jul plek is baie goed in gerig en die dekor uit die boonste rakke. Sal beslis weer soontoe gaan. God bless 🙌❤️🙌

Mesmerizing view. Water tranquility. Although the weather did not play along we could still sit on the balcony and take in the view.

​The Ark Guest House is an absolute gem! After a long road trip back from East London, walking into such a warm, welcoming atmosphere was exactly what we needed. The level of hospitality here is rare; the owner is incredibly lovely, super friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel instantly at ease. ​What truly sets this place apart is the incredible attention to detail. From the delicious biscuits and the thoughtful selection of books to the elegant glass carafe of sherry waiting on the table, every corner feels intentional and personal. It doesn’t feel like a standard rental; it feels like a curated sanctuary. ​The setting along the beautiful canals is stunning, and the decor is filled with personal touches that make you feel right at home. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We are already planning a much longer return trip soon and cannot recommend this beautiful spot highly enough. A perfect 10/10 stay.
