I didn't stay 1 night in this house they played me and took my money

Affordable and conveniently located near the airport, with free parking and all necessities nearby. The room was comfortable and clean. The house features three rooms with a shared living room and kitchen. The staff was very friendly and accessible via phone and the Booking.com chat. Free Wi-Fi was provided, along with towels. Initially, I was a bit concerned after reading some older reviews, but my experience turned out to be excellent. If I visit Philadelphia again, I’ll definitely choose to stay here.

There is nothing to complain about, but it would be better if they added another bulb for more light in the room!

The rooms were clean, and although I didn't use them much myself there was a shared kitchen and table.

Unremovable (I would have) air conditioner in window made the room very cold when the temperature dropped at night, and I'm not one prone to being cold.

Tabbytown was quick to reply over email and phone. Efficient, even though they made a mistake with my booking.

Our first encounter was quite unpleasant. We opened the front door to the house, to find an older man passed out on the couch, he looked in bad condition. We thought he has on drugs as he didn't even hear us walk into the house. It was frightening as we didn't know if he was ok. He did look sick, it was quite sad. We avoided contact with him as much as possible. If this man lives in the house, they should specify on the listing. He did not leave the house, or living room for that matter, in the 4 nights we booked the apartment. Secondly, we booked the downstairs apartment which was listed as a more expensive option to this house. When we got there, they accidentally gave us an upstairs room with a shared bathroom. We called tabbytown to let them know our situation, and the man on the phone told me I WAS WRONG, that I had booked that, and that he could not help me any further... I double checked my e-mail, and indeed I had booked the apartment, not the upstairs room. I called again, and thankfully a friendly female was able to apologize, and sort it out for us. I would recommend booking the downstairs apartment, but not the upper rooms with the shared bathroom. House was clean, although it had a particular smell. They have wifi, TV, washer and dryer, but no kitchenette on downstairs apartment.
