The bathroom was up to date and nice

Dirty walls, sofa was so uncomfortable that jt wasn’t worth sitting on, double bed is split into 2 old mattresses that make it so uncomfortable to sleep in. Blinds in the apartment are broken and allow people to see through apartment and no privacy. They also allow light to get through, so entire room is shining bright as soon as the sun rises. People are coming in and out of the building. Random people ringing on the door and then let allowed to come inside the knock on your door. With the lack of privacy through the broken blinds and people knocking and buzzing on the door, became a really a comfortable stay.

Location was fine

Entry codes to the building given to me were wrong. Only a kind resident saved me from not being able to enter the property on Christmas eve and having to either go elsewhere or drive home. Phone help was no good as they just had the incorrect codes. Apartment door code was ok. No parking or key fob in apartment. I payed for parking I couldn't use. One time code to get fob from another apartment didn't work. I parked elsewhere. I would like my parking fee refunded. I didn't phone about the my inability to enter the other apartment to retrieve a fob as I had lost any faith in the help that I would get. The toilet in the apartment was either stained or not properly cleaned. The underfloor heating was uncontrollable and way too hot. In all, not good. The help given via the phone was not able to solve any of my issues. Mostly not their fault because the information they had was the same incorrect information I'd been given. The descriptions about the building and how to enter it delivered to me via the web app were misleading and not all correct. In particular the arrival information which is probably the most important. Especially when you are arriving on a cold dark evening. I will not stay there again which is a shame as I visit St Alban's frequently.

Got there and no comforter; heat wasn’t working right; bottom sheet was too small and didn’t stay on the bed; beds were not comfortable; washer/dryer didn’t dry properly and was impossible to figure out; furniture was worn out and cheap

It had everything that we needed and was very spacious.

The code to enter the apartment had been partially missing on some communication so it took us a while to enter.

Location

I had a poor experience with the check-in process. I arrived late in the evening and was unable to enter the building because the access code provided was incorrect. I was only able to get inside because another guest happened to let me in, which was very inconvenient and stressful. The procedure to access the flat itself was also incomplete and unclear, adding further confusion on arrival. In addition, I had booked car parking in advance. I was allocated a specific bay number and explicitly told to use only that space. However, when I arrived, another car was already parked in the allocated bay. I then had to contact the host and was eventually told to park in any other bay, which contradicts the original instructions and undermines the purpose of reserving a specific parking space.
