Casa Alto Santo António

The balcony and chairs sunbeds were absolutely superb. The room was large. There were a few provisions on our arrival. There was plenty of hot water. The complex was extremely secure. There were restaurants within walking distance and a supermarket and petrol short 5 min drive away. The location was quiet apart from the sound of cockerels. We had our own specified parking space and were given keys to all the entrances. We liked being left alone to our own devices. We were the envy of the people in the other apparments and the good things more than outweighed the less good things.

We were there for two weeks and there was no cleaning lady. We found some sheets and towels in a draw to replace them oursleves after one week. There was a communication problem because we did not speak Portugese. Getting to the parking space involves finding a one-way street and negotiating very narrow roads. You do need to watch your step because there are numerous hazzards. These include bumping your head on the low ceiling trapping your fingers in the entrance lock slipping on the tiles in wet weather catching your foot on the metal door stop scalding yourself on the hot tap water and falling into the uncovered irriagation gully. Just be very careful.

L'appartement était très bien et très propre. Nous avions une vue superbe sur montagne et océan et pouvions manger sur la terrasse en appréciant tout cela. Les propriétaires étaient très sympathiques, même adorables. Le jardin était magnifique, et les bananiers luxuriant. Merci pour tout, et merci pour les bananes.

L’accueil des hôtes était si chaleureux et l’endroit était paisible tout en étant bien situé!

Piękny widok na pole bananowe i wodospad z jednej strony i ocean, z drugiej. Mieszkanie było duże.

Agréable maison au calme, bien située pour visiter toute l'île. Délicates attentions des propriétaires avec des fruits, un bolo do caco et des conseils concernant les randos, les restos, ....

Mauvaise insonorisation (bruits de chasse d'eau, douche, chaises), mais pas trop dérangeant.

- Great location in the sunny part of the island. - Big terrace with a nice view on the ocean on one side and banana plantation on the other. - Close to the road that cuts through the island. - Reserved parking spot for each apartment.

- Although we arrived as scheduled and as I communicated in the chat, our room was not ready for another hour. I have a feeling they forgot about our check-in. - We also couldn't use the stove in the kitchen as the gas was off, and it was an all-gas stove.

Emplacement. Propre. Fonctionnel. Bien aménagé

Die Terrasse und Aussicht der Wohnung Estrella ist so schön, dass wir uns überwiegend draußen aufgehalten haben. Hilfreich war dafür, dass es mehrere warme Decken gab. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Der laute Kühlschrank ist nachts lästig, aber es gibt ja Oropax.
