No basic condiments if we wanted to cook a meal It would have been nice to have cushions on the couch

Very nice, comfortable apartment close to the city centre.

Some unusual cleaning requests, we had to mop, vacuum and run the dishwasher in order to avoid an $80 cleaning fee. Wouldn't expect this from Booking.com. Also no instructions were sent about how to access the property so we had to ring the host, but it wasn't a huge issue as she answered straight away.

I liked the cleanliness and comfort of the apartment which had everything we needed. I liked the quality of the appliances and fittings

We ran out of pepper with there being none to refill the grinder with. One side of the toaster wouldn't go. I also do not think it is reasonable to have to clean our unit on top of paying quite a high price in the first place.

We loved the comfy beds and had a great stay! While it’s near a few industrial businesses, the location was excellent - just 400m from the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery and shops. Great cafes were close by, with Unbaked Bakery a few doors down and Vintage Coffee House (our fave) and Monica's just a short walk away. The washing machine came in very handy too!

Only a couple of minor things...a heads-up about the cleaning would be helpful. You can pay $80 to have it cleaned or DIY which we did (it took very little time between the 4 of us). Both bedrooms have convenient switches by the bed to turn on/off the main light, but they’re quite bright. A bedside lamp would have been great for reading whilst my husband slept. Also, the bedroom door hinges could use some oiling as they creak. Minor things and we would stay there again.

Great location for walking into the city. Well located, off street parking. The apartment had all we needed for a short stay.

The sofa could do with some cushions for back support.
