The room was in the basement and had only a small window which did not seem safe in the event of a fire.

parking was a little annoying- by the time we arrived it was late, most people were in for the night we had to hunt for parking

Location, interior renovation.

Basement room was under foyer entrance with wood floors. Not an appropriate location for sleeping. I was jolted awake when the first resident exited early in the morning…and the second…and third. Considering that I had been stuck in a massive traffic jam on interstate for 18 hours, exhausted, and only wanted to salvage 6 hours sleep from what was supposed to be a pleasant night in Philadelphia, it was disappointing.

It seemed fairly clean. It had the basic amenities, like a water boiler and microwave. Didn't try the TV but there was a large one.

The way to get in the building and in our room was communicated by email while we were travelling to get there and had no Internet. Our room was in the basement, which should have been clearly stated. We wouldn't have chosen it had we known. The neighbourhood was OK for our purposes but not for people who are looking for a lively area. With Internet, we were fine looking for our own way around but basic info about the neighbourhood, eg on any nearby convenience shop, would have been appreciated. There was also no soundproofing. Other guests coming in at all hours kept waking us up. Some bathroom fixtures were falling off.

Very nice place in a great location. The room was exactly like the pictures. Very clean and had everything I needed. The owner was very nice and polite, always answered my questions quickly and helped me.

The room was a little bit cold. I was in the basement so sometimes gets noisy with people walking around, coming in and out upstairs.
