AF Stays - Philadelphia 1212 Mt Vernon St

Very spacious, well equipped one room apartment (especially compared to hotel rooms). Very cozy even despite it being in the basement. Peacful, quiet neighborhood with a mall close and coffee shops close by.

Have nothing bad to say! Be aware of Google Maps though, because if you just put "Alina & Fanny" without paying attention, like we did, you'll end up at the wrong property. :)

location is good if you like walking at least 15-20 min to historical central, host let us get in the building before 16:00 pm although I think that 16:00 pm check-in time is too late, host is responsive via booking.com only

The host has not mentioned that flat is on basement level. Unfortunately that is important information for which guests should be informed in the offering description before ordering the accommodation. No daily light but just small window which looks from basement level. Photos are not showing the fact that room is on basement level (as host suggests) It was not comfortable stay in Philadelphia. Unfortunately air condition is only set automatically/centrally. As guest we had no option to set the temperature by ourselves on room level. Basement was cold during the night. My wife got cold because of that. Communication is ok via booking.com only but there is no possibility to contact via Whatsup for instance when requested. Initially got the wrong room number. so was trying to enter wrong room with given password. Host gave right room number after my information. Host should give right room number at first sight so that guest could enter his/her room instead of attempting entering someone's room. Late check-in hour at 16:00 pm

great location to visit the city.

noise from washing machines during so say quiet hours. the smell of cannibis from other occupants!

I love that we had the privacy of our own room and bathroom with a small kitchen area. It was very convenient for what we needed.

Other people staying in the apartment didn't observe the rules.

Security, friendly communication, clean, easy navigate inside, calm neighborhood, everything in the room was there that was listed.

When people walk in and up amd down stairs you can hear it clearly, (typical tho of the type of houses) Parking over night the car cannot be infront of the building, (They already had explained that when they message you, but im just saying what I didnt like).

The room was in the basement and it was very cold inside.If someone was walking in the upstairs room you could hear everything downstairs

There's some strange noise circulation; neither of us were really able to sleep because the people on the floor above us were having loud conversations and making a lot of noise throughout the night. Not really the hosts' fault, but we really couldn't stay to finish our trip because we were in town for work and had a really terrible time the first night.

so close to so many things. I really lucked out location wise. hosts were friendly and quick to respond.

inability to adjust the temperature, had to buy toilet paper almost immediately.

It was a decent size space. I appreciated the refrigerator. The hosts replied relatively quickly.

Hearing other guests so loudly, the bath towels didn’t even fit around my body and I’m 5’4” 110 pounds, location was a bit of a walk from everything else
