AF Stays - Philadelphia 1212 Mt Vernon St

we had 2 nights here of absolute noise from the rest of this block and they didn’t let up till around 5 am both nights, neither of which were weekends. I have videos & time stamps of the behaviour in the facility & happy to send, I reached out to the owners. What’s worse is that there is cameras there & once alerted nothing changed even though they knew we were celebrating an anniversary. Guests were unruly, it stunk of cigarettes & weeds coming through our vents. Property owner should take a night there themselves. Being America I wouldn’t get rowdy as I value my own health/life! Not happy to pay what we have for little to no sleep. Only positive was the bed was comfy you just couldn’t sleep.

The location was convenient & centrally located, for all my needs. The room was comfy, cozy & quiet.

Very clean and well maintained bedroom with private kitchen and bathroom. The bed was comfortable enough and there was ample space. I would stay again.

What's not obvious in the pictures is that it is a room converted into a studio... But it's still just one massive apartment subdivided into small studios where rooms used to be. It is well decorated and the floors are new, but it wasn't made sound proof, far from it. Our room was just below the entrance. Everytime someone entered, it was almost like they were in our room. We could hear their conversations just as clearly. A couple came in around 2AM and played loud music in their room until 5AM. Needless to say I didn't sleep much, but my wife slept through it all. Light sleepers beware.. but you might be lucky and have respectful neighbours!

Great location, nice space and responsive to messages. Good value for the price.

The temperature was reset everything's we left to go out and when we came back, it was over 70 in the room and we had to open the window to get the temp down. Every day I had to message for the thermostat to be lowered back to what I was told it was kept at...70. We had a fan that we ran the entire time and this made it hard to sleep. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. And the towels were VERY small and there was only 1 per guest- I would have liked to known this so I could bring one instead of having to buy one there.

We had a room in a basement, which was not communicated before, and we expected the room with balcony, as was shown in the photos. Also the room was extremely noisy, because you could literally hear every step from the 1st floor, plus the fridge was loud as well and full of ice, so we could not unplugged it, due to this reason we had two nights without a proper sleep and we would not recommend the accomodation.
