Kostas Beach Apartments

We booked initially to stay at Kostas Apartments for 5 nights but ended up extending another 5. We were with my 2.5 year old and I was in the last months of pregnancy - Lisa provided the perfect place to completely unwind and relax. If you want to keep things simple - beach, eat, sunset, sleep repeat - this place is for you. We found we automatically unwound in the simplicity of the days here, no frills and perfect. Lisa always went the extra mile for us to make our stay comfortable. Clean room, cosy bedding, always a friendly smile - Thank you!

As mentioned for people with mobility issues the walk to the location and into the village - restaurants / supermarket / bus may be difficult - but for us it was the thing that kept this place in peace and quiet and enabled us to really slow down.

The main selling point was the location. Right on the beach on the west coast of the island, 20 minutes from the airport. Best sunset views every day guaranteed! There is a pool on site, a large shared beach and even a small "private" beach just down the stairs where you can go for a swim at any time. There is a small village with restaurants and supermarkets nearby. And a large public beach, of course

If you come by car (which is the most convenient means of transportation in Corfu), get ready that the parking lot will be a 5-7 minute walk along the beach from the resort (it's free). Hosts will meet and guide you, but don't forget to mark on the map the place where you parked your car, because next day it will not always be easy to find the right footpath to it :)

It was an amazing experience to stay in Kostas Beach apartments. The apartments were big and fully equipped. Each room had a big balcony with a beautiful see view. The pool was also great as it is heated, so water temperature was 27 degrees so great for morning and evening swim.. The host Lisa and her sons were very helpful and flexible about our arrival time, we arrived at midnight. I would highly recommend Kostas Beach Apartments

Nothing much not to like, but couple of small gripes, barking dog at neighbours property, but that's not the fault of the Lisa & Kosta. Bed was a tad on the firm side, but that's just my personal taste.. Some might not like the fact that there is no vehicular access to the property, and the walk to the resort centre is quite uneven & wouldn't be suitable for anyone who is not so steady on their feet, but absolutely worth it if mobility is not a problem as it was the most beautiful spot.

Very nice and helpful owners, great location, spacious and comfortable apartent with the sea view and beach down the stairs. Perfect for those who seek peaceful and quiet vacation.

Sometimes there was a smell in the bathroom.

Originally we had planned to spend at least half of our stay exploring Corfu on a rented scooter. But....the accommodation and the great location in paradise didn't let us leave for a day and we enjoyed the sea and beaches like never before in our lives. What did we like? The perfect cleanliness of the accommodation, the proximity to the sea, the beautiful sandy beach (you can also choose a rocky one) 2 balconies with sunset views, 2 showers and 2 toilets per apartment, the refreshing pool, the great hostess Lisa, the possibility to cook in the room or grill on the beautiful outdoor grill. On arrival we were given a bottle of homemade wine as a treat. It was very good, so we bought quite a lot of it from Lisa.

It's hard to find flaws, the most I can think of is that there were no cooking ingredients in the kitchen at all (I'm not picky, I mean like salt).

Beautiful new pool. Very helpful and kind owners. Great location with almost private beach. Quiet location away from the hustle of other resorts and bars. Rooms were clean, everything worked as expected. Perfect for Families with kids.

The apartments are in an exceptional position at the end of the beach overlooking a beautiful cove which is accessible by a few steps from the pool terrace. The apartment was very clean, huge with plenty of storage, an excellent bathroom with shower, comfortable beds & complimentary slippers. We also had a lovely big terrace with table, chairs & umbrella. Being self catering it was great that they provided 6 packs of 1-5 litres of water for 3 euros so you didn't have to carry them back from the village. A bottle of Rose wine was in the fridge which they make and at 4 euros a bottle we had to purchase quite a few as it was so good! Lisa & her husband were lovely and couldn't do enough for you - due to the location they transport your luggage to & from the car park and will arrange taxis for you. There is also a very good restaurant next door overlooking the sea with great food. All Highly recommended.

The only thing I could fault which is stated on their details, is the walk from the apartments to the village. If you have difficulty walking it really is difficult. I unexpectedly had to walk with a stick and found it trying as the walk is partly pebbles and rocks & very uneven and partly boardwalk. It would take an able person 10 - 15 minutes to get to the village whereas it took me 30 mins! Also you will need a torch as not well lit. However it was worth it as Agios Gordios is lovely with some great restaurants and shops and not commercialised.
