Everything- luxurious and spacious property with excellent outdoor spaces. Fantastic location and wonderful views across the harbour. The host was very helpful with great pre trip and during our stay contact.

It’s an amazing place to stay and one would be so lucky to find this Casa. Everything is stunning and has the comforts better than any five star hotel and we have travelled the world. Host is a class act and helpful for anything you might need from local spots for coffee and Greek delicacies to the best restaurants locally in Heraklion. Don’t miss this location. Well worth it !

Amazing. Great location (prime real estate!). Beautiful house that is large and comfortable. Love the rooftop area and the courtyard. The living room looking over the fort was also wonderful. Well stocked, very clean and comfortable. Also the host, Georgia was friendly, helpful and easily contactable to fix any issue promptly or answer any questions!

A lovely host, a beautiful house in a great location.

Some minor noise from traffic and airplanes (the house is close to the airport).

You hope when you walk through the door with luggage in tow after a long day's travel that it's at least close to the pictures. You then realize it's even better. Then the "oh my god's" and "this place is amazing's" ensue, and you rejoice smugly for the one booking you didn't screw up, but instead, nailed. It's easy to tell a lot of love and thought went into the architecture and design. The decor and minimalist features throughout are a refreshing break from, well, probably most places you'll stay in Greece/anywhere. Modern, tasteful and very spacious, plus a ridiculous amount of seating throughout. The location, views, space, showers, that big comfy couch and...the value. Easily the best accommodation my wife and I (and our 7 month old daughter) stayed at during our 3 weeks in Greece and Italy. Georgia even bought a brand new pack-n-play, baby tub and changing-table pad for our infant. The Casa has more than you need. The kitchen sink has a built-in filtration system for drinking water. Loved the ground level access. Loved even more, the full sized—FULL SIZED—wine glasses (if you know you know). The soundproofing is pretty great, both for outside noise and even between interior rooms. Private, safe and secure and yet just steps away from the bustle. There is a cafe and small grocery store less than a minute's walk away. 1 or 2 walking minutes later and you are in the center of the action. We loved sunsets on the rooftop and late nights on the ground level terrace with vino and spritzes. My daughter and I spent gorgeous mornings on the main level balcony watching the sailboats come and go from the harbor. Georgia. An absolute gem. Super responsive by Whatsapp/phone/Booking.com, probably smoke signals if you're in a pinch. When my wife took the wrong suitcase from the airport, Georgia helped coordinate the switch-back.

Good communication with the lovely host. Very central but isolated from the noisy area of the centrum. The villa is big with high ceilings, decorated modernly and has a panoramic view of the harbor. Each room had its separate bathroom and very nice beds. We were a group 6 and stayed for a week comfortably. Probably one of the best places to live in the whole of Heraklion. Highly recommend it!

We had been looking for a venue that would be suitable for our holidays with family and our elders who had travelled with us. We found La casa del Sal which is absolutely exceptional place by any measure. According to our many previous experiences, we were a bit afraid about whether published pictures reflect the real property. Now I can say that the reality is far beyond the photos. Such a beautiful place is not to catch in the picture. You have to be there and see it right through your eyes. Besides all that, the locality is perfect with a lot of taverns and cafeterias just around the corner, short distance public parking, close to the airport, a breathtaking marina view from the balcony with the historical rampart (best with morning coffee), the property is extraordinarily equipped and, at last but not least, our hosts, exceptionally caring and generous. The only thing we regret is that we had no chance to spend more time with our hosts. As far as our family is concerned, it deserves eleven out of ten.
