Beautiful location and view

Amazing, very nice view, stunning view from the living room, very impressive window, the bus stop is just downstairs, and boat transfer as well, very convenient location, also the landlord is really good, always trying to help, and answer the questions about this area, and got kitchen, facilities good to use. Laundry downstairs. Will definitely come back if I get a chance.

The location is great - a charming, peaceful, small village. It's just a 10-minute drive to Bellagio. The apartment is nicely furnished, clean, and comfortable. The view is stunning - especially early in the morning! A+ for the hosts - both Serena and Leonardo are so nice and helpful. They recommend some nice places and restaurants, answered all our questions.

The only minus was that our stay was so short. Would definitely come back 😊

The apartment is in a great location. You can see the lake from the bathroom. Every day we could admire a new face of the lake and the mountains.

We had a wonderful time here. The host was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The best part was the location – absolutely breathtaking views of the lake right from the property. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery.

The location is absolutely stunning. Truly, the views of the lake, mountains and harbour from the apartment are surely unbeatable, even against some of the more prestigious sites elsewhere along the lake. From inside, it looks as though you are on water as you cannot always see the space between the apartment and the shoreline. The property is wonderfully renovated and everything feels like new. Even the shutters are advanced compared to the locals! A really nice feel to the place and it has been improved to a high standard. You can see and feel that a lot has been invested in the apartment. The air-conditioning was superb and saved our holiday from being a disaster! This certainly made our holiday so much more enjoyable as we experienced nearly 8 days of temperatures averaging around 30°C! My wife and I are from the UK and we wouldn't usually 'seek the sun', but we visited this part of Italy to attend a wedding. We decided to make it a week occasion but couldn't believe how hot it was. Even the locals agreed that it is not usually this warm, for that long! Therefore, the AC in the apartment actually became a talking point and how grateful we were to have such a good system. Thank you for installing this feature, I can assure any future travellers that this will only improve your time in the apartment if you experience warm weather like we did. The shop up the hill is a must (especially their pizza's) and the pharmacy also helped on one occasion. The restaurant next door to the apartment is very nice, and they respect the locals by not being too loud. The ferry service was super convenient for our day trip to Bellagio and it was bang on time. Highly recommended. Overall, the apartment was clean and inviting on arrival. The host we met (Luigi) was very friendly and helpful with messages through the app. He advised us to see a firework display on the 10th of August (St Lawrence's Day), and it was a highlight of our week.

DO NOT LET THESE FOLLOWING NEGATIVES DETER YOU! This property and its location are second to none. The negatives are very 'fussy' but they are honest from our opinion. Many others may not see or find any issues that are the same. The sofa bed was very squeaky, so much so it woke us up every time we rolled in the night. Earplugs solved a lot of the issue (in the end), but perhaps the bed requires a bit of maintenance? I ended up sleeping in the other room, which was actually a more comfortable option due to it being quieter. The local parking (if you hire a car like us) is tricky to contend with. I am a confident driver, and I found it difficult on occasion to park somewhere declared as 'free' in amongst other areas that are strictly 2 hours, 3 hours, or reserved for residents. Fortunately, Luigi helped with a parking map and I could make sense of the areas I should park, but there wasn't always a space, therefore we naturally grew rather jealous of the parking directly outside the apartment that was 'not for us'. Parking on the main road did help with at least getting a space, but it is quite a walk if you are not prepared. Luck certainly needs to be on your side, but maybe this is a little harsh as we did visit in August. The people above our apartment were quite noisy. They stomped their feet all of the time and dropped things on many occasions, and I nearly had to knock to challenge the issue as it was spoiling some of our time. Perhaps I could have contacted our host about the situation but in the end, the particular couple moved out, however just be aware that you may hear a few noises from time to time. To some, this is normal or not an issue, but it was noticeable for us. Overall, not many negatives and some of them were likely due to high season and a bit of bad luck (the people above us). The sofa bed surely can be looked at, and without these small issues, it really is a perfect getaway location.

Perfect quiet location on the waterfront away from the busy tourist towns. Good restaurants nearby, a little shop 100m away selling enough to keep you going. The little cafeteria downstairs next to the church has really good coffee, opens at 9am…… my mornings with a coffee sat watching the beautiful lake were lovely.
