Host & Stay - Club Chambers

The apartment is in a good central location in Great Malvern with secure car parking right outside. The apartment was comfortably furnished and nice and warm. There was sufficient equipment and kitchen facilities to cook a meal for a family of five, and there are also plenty of options to eat out on the doorstep. The new Weavers bar, and bar Limon on Church street are well worth a visit. The neighbouring priory park and Splash swimming pool are great for younger kids.

From the outset the communication with the management company was not the most convivial. The first page of the "welcome" booklet outlines a long list of circumstances warranting loss of the £200 security deposit, including making a noise, and making the towels or sheets dirty. This didn't make for a very relaxing stay with young children. The listing also stated that the beds in the master room could be separated into two singles, but this was not possible for our stay which meant we had to bring two additional airbeds, not ideal. Overall the apartment although comfortable, is getting a little tired. The laminate flooring is coming up in places, the crockery and cutlery (loss/damage of which incurs a hefty fine) is odd and mismatched, and the shower is like a gentle drizzle. However, for a family of five, with a lack of alternatives on the market it is a good base. We'd consider staying again when visiting family.
