Willow Cottage

Lovely big rooms, large bedroom with built in wardrobes, excellent bathroom with large walk-in shower, great seating area outside and superb large garden to sit in. Excellent location for Bishop's Castle and Clun and great countryside for walking in.

No oven gloves, dishwasher tablets or washing machine tablets.

Willow cottage is a nice cosy cottage. Good facilities, everything you need. It's also quite a good central base to be able to visit other parts of Shropshire.

Did have a bit of an issue with the WiFi. Also found it difficult to find accommodation when it's dark from the road.

Stayed Friday to Sunday nights whilst doing Wenlock Edge hill-walking. So location was good. Duncan met me and showed me where everything was, and when necessary, so did Rita. Very comfortable bed and settee, excellent shower, well-stocked kitchen. Also nice and quiet. I didn't have time to read but there are plenty of local guides and a good book collection.

The location was perfect the cottage was nicely furnished clean and well appointed

We found it cold at night and the duvet didn't fit the bed or the duvet cover quite uncomfortable at night

It is a lovely property in a very nice village..

Everything about this lovely little cottage is superb. It is spacious and very well decorated with furniture in keeping with the property. The location is ideal for a quiet break with all the facilities you need very close by.

When we arrived, we were met by Duncan who provided us with the keys and gave us a brief of the property and area. The cottage was very spacious and very comfortable with a separate lounge and dinning room and a large bedroom with plenty of drawers and wardrobes and a lot of hanging space. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The area was quiet and the location was excellent for walking. The cottage is a 5 minute walk from the Powys Pub which serves excellent food and drinks and the locals were friendly and informative. The cottage is also close to Walcot Hall and an Arboretum. There is a lot to do in the area and we had a restful and enjoyable stay. We would love to return.
