Willow Cottage is Beautiful it has Everything that I Needed and even a Few Extras of Food. Bed is Comfy and the Decor and Furniture is Lovely and Unique. Gorgeous Location and the Owners are Lovely People. I would Stay again.

The unit was self catering and was well equpped for this. Some basic provisions had been left for us on arrival which was a lovely touch. The unit was spacious, and well furnished, - felt like a home from home!

The matresses on the king size bed are in need of replacement, and this was the only rather big negative to what was otherwise a lovely stay. The host was away for the duration of our stay (so I havnt rated the host for this reason), and there was a bit of a glitch with the key as a result, but this was thankfully rectified reasonably quickly. There was a lovely caretaker who we met on our first evening, who also gave us some great pointers for plcaes to visit and things to do in the vicinity.

Location was very good in a pretty village with a lovely local pub. Such a pity that the rest of the experience was not enjoyable. Hosts need to realise they should give their guests what they have paid for and expect.

We were not given the cottage booked and paid for but a totally unsuitable one with steep and dangerous stairs. We were woken the first morning by a painter at the window with full sight of us in bed. This was followed by a series of unwelcome incidents every day. Duncan offered full refund and compensation but we were given only the compensation and a denial of the refund offer with an accusation that my husband was lying! Not a good experience at all and totally unnecessary.
