Ocean house

The apartment was a few steps from the Ponta Delgado exercise path and about a 20 minute walk to the marina and the old town. Plenty of parking spaces for a rental car.

The place was great, we did not have any issues

We arrived very short before midnight but the host has waited for us and explained the apartment, The apartment is spacious and modern, has two bedrooms (one upstairs with sea view) with balcony each and two bathrooms. View to the sea. All available also for self service in the apartment. The host gave us also recommendations for restaurants nearby. Sufficient parking space available around for the rental car and a bus stop is directly at the street. The city center is also in walking distance (ca. 15-20 minutes).

The bedroom with the window to the street can be a bit noisy when cars pass at night. Some information about correct waste separation would be helpful during check-in for the check-out. We have discovered the yellow bags for plastics in the kitchen cabinet and the waste container opposite the building. So we have separated and disposed it ourselves and just left the general trash. On the street there was only a container for glass, plastics and paper.

The owner of apartment is fantastic person. Really cares about guests. Apartment is very clean and comfortable. Fantastic place to visit whole island. Recommend to everyone to visit 2 restaurants just few steps from apartment - one with amazing steaks and second with delicious seafood. Yummmy !!!! Ask the owner for details and you will be happy after tasting this specials😁

Beautiful apartment, very spacious, centrally located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Only 20-25 min walking to down town Ponta Delgada. Very friendly owner, met us at the apartment to give us the keys. Very good communication with Gilberto, the owner. It's a 2 BDR / 2 BATH apt, 2 balconies, big LVR, kitchen, everything is there !!! Highly recommended, good value !!!

Location: a short drive or an easy walk (35-40 min.) along the shore to the city center or a beach. Close to the airport. Host: most accommodating and easy to contact. Apartment: modern, clean, air conditioned. Well equipped kitchen. Gorgeous ocean view. Parking: there is no dedicated parking, but never an issue finding a spot nearby.
