"Tuscan Charm with views"

Everything was amazing - this was the quintessential Tuscan villa that we were looking for. Away from the hustle and bustle of the world where you can unwind and just enjoy the magnificent views, local food and wine. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and fully of great advice about things to do and see.

Nothing, it was exactly what we were looking for - real Tuscan charm.

"Beautiful welll thought out rural stay just minutes from town"

Really loved our stay at Castello Mont Auto in the Il Camino Apartment. The location is absolutely beautiful, quiet and just far enough away from San Gimignano so that you can still take a quick trip in to grab a gelato! The apartment was so spacious, bedrooms very generous in size and away living space. Kitchen had everything you needed to cook up a meal - we didn’t need for anything, everything was covered. Pool superb, temperature, size and so clean. Communal washing machine works perfectly and a real bonus for travelling families. Corrina was a delight and readily available.

The bedroom air cons are not terribly effective and very noisy. Fans would probably be more useful.

The cottage feel of the 2 bedroom apartment, the backyard with the beautiful view. So peaceful. It was a relaxing stay after visiting busy cities.

perfect setting with view San Gigmignano; outside pool area and area for apartments excellent with beautiful views.

bit disturbing - noise from neighbours through bathroom and upstairs. second bedroom very small.

Castello de Montauto is in a beautiful location. Our apartment was very clean and spacious and had everything that we needed for our stay. Bed was super comfortable. Many places in Tuscany are easily accessible by car from this place. There is a super market 5 mins away and also the beautiful town of San Gimignano is 5 mins away. Most importantly Corinna is very kind and helpful. We will definitely return to this place in future.
