Agriturismo Castello di Montauto

The owners were very welcoming, and the apartment was very clean and well equipped. The entire property is in a pretty setting amongst vineyards and olive trees. We travelled with a child and really enjoyed fun in the pool. Excellent proximity for a visit to San Gimingano.

The apartment is spacious and lovely, and the property is beautiful, with vineyards and cypress trees all around! Corinna was incredibly helpful and kind. She was also quick to respond to our questions. We loved that we were only a seven minute drive to the town of San Gimignano. When on the property, however, it felt like we were a world away!

Met as we arrived and shown through this amazing property! What a view. Just loved our Tuscan escape and being at the end of 4 weeks in Italy, we thoroughly enjoyed visiting Coop and cooking our own meals, eating the courtyard as we looked out over the grape vines and San Gimignano in the distances - so sick of finding restaurants and choosing food that we often were a little disappointed in. Corinna was a fantastic host and wealth of local knowledge. Loved the pool!

Absolutely gorgeous location 10/10: close to San Gimignano and at the top of a tiny hamlet. Comfy beds and plenty of space in the family apartment. Also loved the family’s artwork on the walls! A little breakfast basket for day 1 was a nice touch.

The landscaping around the pool is unfortunate: the wire fence just takes away from that dreamy Tuscan ambiance! Also note that there’s no food on the property so you’ll need to do a shop beforehand! It’s a rustic spot and I think it’s a tiny bit overpriced.

The property was immaculately clean and well appointed. The kitchen had a great selection of equipment and a lovely welcoming pack - could do with a few more wine glasses though.

Warm welcoming and service minded, the perfect start of our three days there. Lovely views and amazing facilities. Best place we have been in Tuscany for sure.

Large spacious rooms, host was super nice and helpful with great recommendations for food and activities around the area. Super clean with all the facilities you might need. Located just nine minutes from the old city of San Geminiano. Will definitely come back again!
