AUIncredible location. Close to everything but with a beautiful setting. We could hear the waves lapping the shore at night. Perfect.
AUKappari is in a beautiful position over looking the sea and a beach, but unfortunately there are 37 steep steps to get from town to the apartment. Dimitris is a wonderful host, he met us with the key, helped with a suitcase up the steps and had some food and drinks ready in the fridge for us.
The steps were very hard going, the bed was very hard and gave me a sore back. There were a few basic things missing like a bath mat, plug for the kitchen sink, and tea towels.

GBLocation is superb. Away from the enjoyable hustle and bustle of Skiathos centre in a lovely quiet corner of the town. The small beach less than a hundred yards from the property, down some steps, is a wonderful spot for swimming in the clearest of waters. The headland scene from a sitting position on the wicker sofa of the ground floor balcony is serene.
There is nothing about the property to dislike.
MKGBThe studio is spacious and has been lovingly renovated by Dimitris, who is the friendliest of hosts. There were bottles of water provided along with snacks and essentials in the cupboards and bathroom, so we didn't need to buy anything except milk. The view from the terrace is one of the best you'll find in Skiathos. You are about 2 minutes from Plakes Beach and the rocks. It's about 3 or 4 minutes to the harbour front and all the nightlife, yet in a very quiet location.
It's a steep climb from the harbour to Plakes, so it's not suitable for the infirm or very unfit. We managed it, though, and have come away fitter as a result! The studio is perfect, but we found the mattress very hard, so great if you're used to a hard mattress. This is not a complaint, just a personal preference.
GBThe views of Plakes were amazing. It was situated in a very peaceful location apart from the building work close by. The in house facilities were exceptional and the host had thought of almost everything apart from an ironing board. He did offer to purchase one for us though but we didn’t hold him to it. Dimitris the host was exceptional.
The only negative for us and it’s an individuals choice was the mattress. We did struggle to sleep on it at times but it did make us drink more alcohol in the evening.
GBLocation is beautiful, Dimitris our host could not have been more helpful, so well stocked with toiletries and tea, coffee, bread and much more. The relaxing outside space was a particular highlight with spectacular views. Would definitely recommend 😁
