Beautiful Upper Apartment/Stunning Sea Views, Isle of Bute

We absolutely loved our getaway to this beautiful island. This apartment was the perfect place for us to unwind whilst seeing the amazing views from the panoramic windows - there is a breath taking view in every room. The hosts were very helpful and on hand for tips whenever we needed. The apartment was spotless, tastefully decorated and the perfect location. The port is easy accessible by local bus that runs every 30 mins - it features a lovely community pub and a cafe. We visited the first week of December and the port was all done up for Christmas. The apartment was warm and cosy, the perfect trip!

Only downside was the flight of stairs, not having a handrail was a slight problem for my husband.

We absolutely loved the views from the apartment. Sunrise, rainbows, sunshine, sheets of rain travelling down the Kyle. The bedroom and living room are very nicely decorated. The village is really nice and friendly. The atmosphere in The Anchor is brilliant. People in the shops are chatty and welcoming. Walkable into Rothesay and to Ettrick beach.

The stairs up to the property have no handrail. The door into the apartment gives a really poor first impression- a good couple of coats of paint would make a great improvement. The bathroom is a little tired.

Fantastic location and the apartment was clean

There is a ring doorbell on the entrance to the apartment which made me feel uncomfortable knowing the owner could watch my coming and going. The heating was controlled by a hive which was controlled by the owner. It was cool on a couple of evenings however our stay was August but they don't switch on the heating until September. We did use the heater but that only warms the sitting room.

Wonderful location with sublime views across Kames Bay to the Cowal Peninsula. The property was more spacious than we expected and kitted out with everything necessary for our trip. It felt homely, tasteful and was spotlessly clean - perfect. Magdalena was wonderful and communication was prompt, friendly and informative every step of the way. Check-in procedures were slick and we very much appreciated the opportunity to access the property an hour early. We opted to have a delicious breakfast at the local The Post Office and enjoyed the hospitality in The Anchor, a local community pub. All in, we were delighted. Highly recommended.

The amazing views and the town centre was a short drive and a lovely apartment

The entrance of the property not great . The hall stairs and landing lets the property down a lot it not very welcoming the decor not great also the 45 stairs was bad getting the cases up and down not great with no lift . Also there was supposed to be an iron in the apartment and because it said that i did nt bring mine so had to buy one so that was a bit disappointing and there was no chocolate and toiletries there as well like it said but lucky enough i brought my own , there was only toilet roll and there was stuff missing in the kitchen too but the flat itself was lovely the kitchen and the bathroom was the best

The apartment is lovely. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Beautiful view from all windows.

Unfortunately we had to go back to Rothesay to find somewhere to eat. The cafe along the road only opens from Thursday to Sunday at this time of year.
