Guest Suite at The Red House basement attached with private entrance

Loved how spacious and charming this basement apartment was! It was perfect for two nights of relaxation

Perfect place to stay for a family. Plenty of room for our family of 4. The host was super friendly and helpful.

We arrived late and it was a little hard to find the driveway/parking in the dark.

The hosts are really nice, the house has a history which I liked. It was really clean and very couy. Despite the fact that there is no AC, it was really refreshing in the apartment.

Beautiful unique property!

There were choices of dry cereal , fresh milk, yogurt, bread for toast, coffees (though we didn’t drink coffee) , snacks (chips/generous selection, some trail mix), water bottles . The electric reclining movie seats are so fun for watching movies!! Lots of Netflix, etc, choices. And they have a game room with tons of games and book selections in the master bedroom with local recreation/things to do info. The location was on a side road where there were a few homes in a private area. Once you find it, it’s very cool.

You have to understand it is a historic home, and just turned 125 years old. It’s well kept and quaint, but you can hear sounds from above since the apartment is in the basement. It’s summer here now and sweltering hot, so the basement was nice and cool!! Bathroom is small, but nicely done. If you are a tall , large person, however, the shower head stands about 5’5-5’6, but the sprayer is removable to hold up over your head. Carpet in the family room due for a cleaning, otherwise, very clean comfortable beds, towels, little soaps and shampoos. Limited parking.

The property was lovely and our hosts were wonderful! We felt so comfortable and safe and had everything we needed. The bed was great, the cooking facilities perfect and the grounds were beautiful beyond belief!!

We had a little trouble finding it at night but host met up outside and helped us even with our late arrival. He was very accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly.
