Port Elizabeth Apartment

The room was neat and tidy, yard secured.

The toilet sink and shower was not in good condition and tried to report it to the property owner. We requested an iron since we are from Gauteng and we were attending a funeral and we were told we can only rent it @R20.00 for 10mins 🤔, we were stranded and pay for it. Not to mention the kettle from inside, we have to go and buy stuff to clean it and send to her pictures of before and after because I like coffee in the morning. I am very much disappointed this time around because almost every time we visit PE we will select their place as it is in the center.

Having to wash with cold water on the 16th August 2025 with no explanation on what was going on. We were not told to bring an iron for our clothing and we had to pay R20 for each item ironed.

Environment was good but the noise yhooo, it was so bad, the neighbours next to the room make a lot of noise

Everything about this place, its my second time visiting it. Firstly my car was robbed inside the premises and last weekend they couldn't even provide an iron to iron my stuff on Sunday

i wanted to share some honest feedback about my recent stay. I booked the apartment to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet during my summer break, as I work abroad and truly needed the rest. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet those expectations. The apartment I was placed in had an internal door connecting to the neighboring unit, with a noticeable gap at the bottom — and through that, I could hear everything from next door. On the first night, I tried to tolerate the noise, but by the second night, it became too much. I could clearly hear their conversations, what they were watching on TV, and even when they were cooking. I raised the issue with staff, and I was told they would speak to the guests next door, but nothing changed. The noise continued each night, and I ended up going to sleep as late as 1am and 2am because of it. This meant I didn’t get the rest I came for. Additionally, I found the thin curtains and lack of privacy concerning, especially considering that the majority of the guests staying there were men. It left me feeling a bit exposed and uncomfortable. In my opinion, that particular unit is not suitable for guests seeking privacy or quiet, and I believe it’s important to address these issues for future bookings.
